            November’s Networking Landscape in Orlando

We’ve officially entered the home stretch of the year; a season packed with galas, holiday mixers, and end-of-year celebrations.

But before you sprint from event to event, remember this: networking without intention can just become noise.

Every handshake, introduction, or conversation could be the seed that grows into your first opportunity of 2026, if you treat it that way.

Here’s how to make the most of this month:

            • You simply cannot be everywhere. Determine which events you need to be at, who you want to support, and how you will show up in those rooms.
            • Show up prepared. Know who’s in the room and why you want to be there.
            • Lead with warmth. Your smile and sincerity will open more doors than a perfect elevator pitch ever will.
            • Follow through quickly. Don’t wait until January to reconnect - reach out while the conversation is still fresh, and establish next steps.

The connections you nurture now will set the tone for how you start the new year.

So as you step into these final few events of 2025, remember: you’re not just networking, you’re planting seeds for a future harvest.

Stay tuned next week - I’ll be sharing a deeper dive on how to truly level up your networking in 2026.

With that in mind, here are November’s best networking events in Orlando.

            November 7th, 8:00-9:00am

DOP First Friday’s - Hosted by GD Pro Services

“Join the Downtown Orlando Partnership for the final First Friday networking of 2025, hosted by GD Pro Services! The Citrus Social: Networking with OCPS Foundation

For the final Citrus Social of 2025, The Citrus Club's Young Executives are partnering with Orange County Public Schools Foundation to bring you an opportunity to connect and collaborate at a higher level with business professionals and community leaders in Central Florida.

Established in 1987, the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools is a direct-support organization serving the nation’s 8th largest public school district. We support more than 206,000 students at 214 schools.

School district funding often comes with restrictions, leaving limited resources for innovation, enrichment, and urgent classroom needs. That’s where we step in—and where you can make all the difference.”

The educational portion will be heavily focused on the area's developments and updates within the tourism industry. This event will provide an opportunity for members and non-members to connect with influential business leaders and learn about topics like new attractions, economic forecasts, and community initiatives in and around International Drive.”

            November 14-16th, All Day Conference

The Thing Orlando - “Equipping You To Do Your Thing”

“The Thing isn’t about inspiration for “someday.” It’s about real strategies from entrepreneurs, marketers, creators, and leaders who are in the trenches, building businesses that work right now. You won’t find recycled fluff or theory here. Just proven ideas and actionable insights you can use before you even leave the room. Everyone is together in one room. No breakouts. No decision fatigue. That means every speaker builds on the last, the conversation compounds, and your clarity gets sharper by the hour. And it’s not just from the stage. From hot seats to Q&A, panels to real-time conversations, you’ll get direct input on your business. Add in the right peers at your table, and you’ll leave with questions answered, momentum restored, and a plan you can actually execute.

Because clarity without action is just noise. At The Thing, clarity becomes momentum, and momentum changes everything.

Those around me often describe me as a passionate community-builder, connector, prolific networker, and inspirational speaker. My passion for cultivating life-giving communities extends beyond my work as I serve on the Citrus Club Young Executive Board, and The Leadership Council of Junior Achievement of Central FL. I grew up in a family of seven in Massachusetts and have spent 10 years in customer service-centered roles, starting in hospitality at the age of 15. My sales career led me to Orlando in 2020, where I became a multi-million-dollar producer at Capital Office Furniture followed by playing a key role in growing the Citrus Club’s Young Executive Member Base to an all-time record percentage. Throughout my time in Orlando, I have made it my mission to build a community of influence, growth, collaboration, transformation, and belonging. My Core Values: | Honor | Integrity | Intentionality | Authenticity | Excellence | Welcome to the circle of social belonging ⭕️ 👥
