Windermere Food Truck Night Brings Community Together

The much-anticipated Windermere Food Truck Night, that takes place from September to May on the 4th Friday of each month, set the stage with its first event featuring 19 different food trucks lining their Town Square Park. Each month through May the downtown area will come alive with a vibrant fusion of flavors, music, and a sense of community that is truly unique.

With a variety of food options as well as the convenience of signature craft beers from Windermere Brewing and wine from Tim’s Wine Market, Food Truck Night brings a casual community-centric atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

September’s event featured The Down Brothers kicking everything off with live music featuring covers from Tom Petty, John Mayer, The Marshall Tucker Band and more.

Families flock to the event, not just for the food but also for the sense of togetherness that the event offers. Many people bring their own chairs and tables, creating fun and creative picnic spots under the canopy of oaks and the basketball courts become filled with kids playing games and having fun.

Windermere is a small, quiet town in the middle of the Butler Chain of Lakes and their Food Truck Night is a perfect opportunity for everyone to come together, share stories, and embody the spirit of this central Florida community.
