Tucked away at the base of a Magnolia Place Parking Garage, Chris Johnson’s barber shop, is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. With over 25 years of experience, Chris has been cutting hair since he was 14 years old, mastering his craft one client at a time.

Originally from Tennessee, Chris moved to Orlando with his wife, following family and the promise of good weather. When he found this shop at 109 East Church Street, it was an easy decision—it had already been a barbershop for over 30 years. The location, though unassuming, felt right.

Stepping inside, you’re greeted with more than just clippers and combs. Chris has cultivated a gentlemen’s club vibe, offering a private, comfortable space where great conversation pairs with even greater service. “I listen to what people want. I cut your hair how you want it, not how I want to cut it,” he says.

While the shop’s tucked-away location makes it easy to miss, those who find it keep coming back. You can book an appointment through his Booksy account here, but the best way to experience it? Walk by, step in, and see why this low-key spot feels like home
