Orlando Artists gathered at the new Garden Tiger showroom for a newly designed event that focuses on fostering community and opportunity in the local region.

The event, Orlando Life Creatives, was put together by The Orlando Life in partnership with Caris Baker, a local technical artist and Full Sail Hall of Fame inductee, to support Arts and Culture in the Orlando region.

The Garden Tiger is located in Ivanhoe Village and was created from the people behind Porch Therapy, The Heavy, and Janet’s Dry Humor. The location features a cafe and bottle shop attached to a large showroom featuring plants, furniture and decor. The Orlando Life Creatives was held inside the Showroom.

Attendees at the event started the night off with an art activity designed for the artists to settle into the environment. The activity transitioned into a creative social experience bringing together art and communication.

Here's what some of the attendees had to say:

"It was ingeniously organized. Love the icebreaker activity. It was great seeing old friends and creating new. Can't wait for the next one!"

Jorge E. Colón Jusino, Mass Virtual

"Thank You Orlando Life for hosting a creative event that was actually FUN! Who doesn’t a love a hands on creative challenge that leads to ice breaking conversations?! I left with new connections, but even more inspiration and a refueled creative spirit. When can we do it again?!"

            Helynn Hallock, Disney

"Such a fun event! Caris really knows how to bring people together. She has a special talent for helping people realize their potential and blossom"

Kathryn Bowles, Full Sail Student in Simulation Engineering

"Last night’s event was a fantastic showcase of how creativity thrives when you bring a community together. The organization was spot-on, creating an environment where artists, creatives, and supporters could connect authentically. Events like this don’t just offer networking opportunities, they help build the foundation for future collaborations and innovation. It was truly inspiring to see the passion in the room, and I’m excited to see how the Orlando Life creative community continues to grow from here!"

            Justin Spears, MXI Consulting
