Find Local Art to Gift at Holiday Milk Mart

On December 21st, Milk Mart returns to the streets of the Milk District for its annual Holiday Market, transforming the neighborhood into a festive block party filled with local art, food, music and community. The event runs from 12-6pm and takes over the streets and parking lots surrounding Bumby Avenue, offering locals a last chance to shop small before the holiday rush hits its peak.

Hosted by Ashley Hollenback, Milk Mart has become one of Orlando’s most beloved markets by making local art and handmade goods accessible to everyone. What started as a pop-up has grown into a large scale community event that brings together artists, makers, musicians and food vendors in a way that is completely Orlando.

Leaning completely into the season, Milk Mart on Instagram said, it is “ur biggest block party, most festive festival, most merry market of the year.” Visitors can stroll down the middle of Bumby with a snack in hand, snap a photo with Cody the inflatable cow, and enjoy live performances ranging from smooth jazz and holiday punk to vibey acoustic sets.

The market is also a reminder that meaningful gifts don't come from crowded malls. Instead of buying the same thing everyone else is giving, you'll find one-of-a-kind art, vintage records, crochet plushies, handmade soaps, candles, and plenty more, all created by Central Florida artists and makers.
