Before we dive into it, we want to celebrate something that can easily go unsaid. The purpose of events like this is to raise money for humans in need. These funds are easily diminished due to the costs for events of this magnitude. With 150 staff on-site, we want to draw attention to all the in-kind donations from talent and service providers that made having this event possible. Without you, this doesn't happen.

On August 23rd, the sleek showroom of Fields Motorcars transformed into the stage for Orlando’s most powerful night of fashion and philanthropy. The Fashion & Hope runway show, produced by the Hope for More Foundation under the leadership of president J.R. Tanghal, raised $200,000 in support of the Give Hope Foundation, funds that will provide direct assistance to families facing life threatening pediatric illnesses. With an average cost of $2,500 per family, this year’s show will be assisting Give Hope Foundation in many ways.

            A Runway of Bold Statements

The evening opened with Downtown Divas, whose vibrant presentation has become a staple of Fashion & Hope, setting the tone for a night of energy and celebration. Just as much a tradition, Claudia Gutierrez Swimwear closed the show, a pairing that has defined the runway for more than a decade and has become part of the event’s signature rhythm.

The runway pulsed with variety and flair: influencers, community leaders, and even performers spinning pirouettes and Brazilian carnival dancers brought excitement and movement to the stage.

Every participating brand added its own signature voice to the lineup:

            • Downtown Divas
            • Leonardo’s on 5th Ave
            • Loretta Josephine Boutique with Frieda Christine Jewelry
            • Tommy Bahama
            • Runway X Gallery: Jefre’s Art in Motion
            • Hemline
            • Forema
            • House on Lang
            • Adjectives Market
            • Hugo Boss
            • Lacastro
            • Labella Fine Intimates
            • DePalma World
            • Claudia Gutierrez Swimwear with Vera and Vogue jewelry

With its mix of established names and emerging voices, the show captured the spirit of Orlando fashion: bold, diverse, and unafraid to make a statement.

The Give Hope Foundation works to bridge the gap for families whose lives have been turned upside down by pediatric illness, stepping in with financial and emotional support when it is needed most. With this year’s record-breaking funds, it will do a lot of good in our community.

            Orlando’s Signature Night

As the official media sponsor, Orlando Life is proud to stand alongside the Hope for More Foundation in celebrating this remarkable evening. Fashion & Hope has become Orlando’s signature stage: sexy, bold, and unforgettable. But more than anything, it is a reminder that fashion can be more than fabric on a runway, it can be a lifeline.
