6 Business Networking Events in Orlando for June

We're halfway through the year, and for many professionals, the calendar is already filled with evidence of how they've spent the last six months.

There have been Zoom calls, coffee meetings, networking events, conferences, lunches, and countless conversations. Yet when looking back, it's worth asking a simple question: How many of those interactions have turned into meaningful relationships?

Goals and intentions matter, but habits often tell the more accurate story. The habits we practice every day shape the relationships we build, the opportunities we create and, ultimately, the outcomes we experience in business and life.

For many people, the first half of the year is focused on meeting new people. The second half can be an opportunity to strengthen those connections.

Attending an event is relatively easy. Having a single conversation is easy. Building trust and depth, however, requires something more. It happens through follow-up conversations, additional coffees, phone calls, introductions made without expecting anything in return and a willingness to remain consistent long after the event has ended.

Some of the most valuable relationships are not formed in crowded rooms or during a brief exchange of business cards. They are built over time through repeated interactions and genuine interest in another person's journey.

As summer continues, professionals looking to expand their network may benefit from shifting their focus from the quantity of conversations to the quality of connections. The events we attend can open doors, but the relationships we nurture afterward are often what create lasting value.

For those looking to make networking a priority this summer, here are a few upcoming events worth considering.

            GOBA Summer Open House

            June 11 2026, Maitland, FL

I have continually been impressed with the give-minded and member-driven culture that GOBA has built within the housing and building industry. If you would like to learn more, this is a great opportunity for it.

The Lifeboat Project Dinner, Charley's Steak House - iDrive

            July 22, 2026

I'm a huge fan of the work Lifeboat Project does, and the awareness they bring to the devastating reality of human trafficking in our country. This is a great opportunity to get involved and give back, thanks to a partnership with Talk of The Town Restaurant Group Foundation.

The second half of the year may not require an entirely new strategy. Instead, it may require greater intentionality.

Rather than focusing solely on meeting more people, consider investing in the relationships you've already started. Make the follow-up call. Schedule the coffee. Introduce two people who could benefit from knowing one another. Take the next step in a conversation that showed promise but never moved beyond the first meeting.

The opportunities you're searching for may not be waiting at the next networking event. They may already exist within the relationships you've begun to build, simply waiting for someone to take the next step.

Those around me often describe me as a passionate community-builder, connector, prolific networker, and inspirational speaker. My passion for cultivating life-giving communities extends beyond my work as I serve on the Citrus Club Young Executive Board, and The Leadership Council of Junior Achievement of Central FL. I grew up in a family of seven in Massachusetts and have spent 10 years in customer service-centered roles, starting in hospitality at the age of 15. My sales career led me to Orlando in 2020, where I became a multi-million-dollar producer at Capital Office Furniture followed by playing a key role in growing the Citrus Club’s Young Executive Member Base to an all-time record percentage. Throughout my time in Orlando, I have made it my mission to build a community of influence, growth, collaboration, transformation, and belonging. My Core Values: | Honor | Integrity | Intentionality | Authenticity | Excellence | Welcome to the circle of social belonging ⭕️ 👥
